Shareholders in part parcels of the following breeds are currently required in order to complete a parcel for importation from the U.K. in the next syndicate. Parcels of ¼ and ½ shares are now being sought.
Reply to Terry at rarebreedspoultry@gmail.com quickly, to get in first. Further details explaining the whole concept will be sent on request.

Particular parcels requiring suitable share partners are :

French Cuckoo Marans
French Wheaten Marans
French Birchen Marans
White Marans
Penedesenca
Vorwerk
Lackenvelder
Black Jersey Giants
White Jersey Giants
White Faced Black Spanish
Blue Laced Barnevelders
Silver Laced Barnevelders
Jungle Fowl red
Japanese Bantam
Polish, Tolbunt, Chamois, Silver Laced, White Crested Black and more
Bresse Gauloise White

For those unfamiliar with the importation process – birds are sourced and housed in the U.K. then eggs are sent for hatching to South Australia. Meredith Parker has done a fantastic job in setting set up the first importation – known as ARPIS I and these birds have just hatched this May. After quarantine checks they will be tagged and fully vaccinated then released to the syndicate members in July.

Meredith currently has ARPIS 2 planned for 2015 and has called for new syndicate members. To become a member with this syndicate you must commit to a full parcel. As ARPIS 2 accepts full parcels (20 birds) only, then people wishing for only a small amount, will miss out. Therefore I am offering a cheaper, stress-free alternative, for those small fanciers and breeders, who wish to start with a few birds only and who simply don’t have the opportunity to purchase the full share.

The Rare Breeds Poultry Syndicate is putting together, people of similar interest, from all over Australia, who would love to own their own small flock of these rare and previously unattainable birds. So far over 20 such parcels have been arranged.

The currently available breeds that are in the facility in the U.K. presently are listed below:

N.B. If you would like other birds to be imported then there is a possibility, but they will have to be sourced first and it is really quite a process. Give me a call or email me with your suggestions.

Contact Terry this week at rarebreedspoultry@gmail.com for further details if you are interested as this opportunity will close soon.

If I wanted green jungles would the source eggs have to hatch in the uk raised to breeding then import the eggs from those raised as it was with the first or can we just source eggs straight from a breeder and import them?
