What about the Lady Amhearst and Impeyan Pheasants are they in australia? How much and do they grow large aswell. Also can I feed them my quail mix. It's a mesh I think you call it with corns and seeds and all them. |

we have lady amhersts in Australia but not monals. lady amhersts are similar to golden pheasants because there in the same 'group'. I suppose you could give them the same food as the quails |

Lady Amheaster. So you don't have Impyeans in Australia. What is the Average Life Span for the Golden Pheasant and how big are the $20 ones? Should I buy a trio like my Quails. Male + Female + Female?? |

Also when they reach 1m can I just leave them to run around the yard. I tried this with the quails. The crows ate them. |

i think the average life span is 15 years. i bought my golden pheasants for $20 when they were about 6 weeks old. it would be best to keep them in trio's because you still get good fertility rate and there a lot more happy here is a link to a photo of a lady amherst pheasant: http://www.gbwf.org/pheasants/amherst01.html |
