It possible with the young hens but not with any young males they will be attacked when they reach maturity so take them out

I took them out as you recommended and left the young females and now I have the mother and 1 daughter sitting on eggs will they be ok together with chicks? also I am thinking of buying a pair of ringneck pheasants and was wondering if they were more difficult to breed than the reeves pheasants?

They should be ok sharing the chicks I have 3 hens in one cage and they all raise chicks together in fact 2 have chicks now 1 with 5 the other with 7. Ringnecks and reeves are the easiest pheasant to breed, closely followed by red goldens so you like your reeves they are very easy to breed so go for it.

Yes the ringnecks are very easy to breed but some of the mutes are a little more work. As for reeves well even a 4 year old can breed a couple so that is how easy they are and the rings and the same so yes you will have no trouble breeding them.

Actually a 4 year old did Colin so you are very right there. I tell newcomers to buy either ringnecks, goldens or reeves as starter pheasants because anyone can breed them even little kids
