I have my very first pair of golden pheasants for 1 week now and they seem to love their cage and the scarlets seem to ignore them so far

Welcome DVillers to the forum.

By "scarlets" do you mean scarlet-chested parrots, scarlet macaws or scarlet honeyeaters?

I hope your golden pheasants bring you lots of joy!

Cheers
