Its trial and error but at 4-6 months they should stay on

How do the metal one go on their feet are so big how do they fit?

With the rings do I start with smallers size like 8mm then work my way up to the 18mm so they do not come off or is there a trick to them?

They are split rings so once on they stay on

No you use either wing tags or zip ties until they are 3-4 months then ring them

I was also wondering that same thing good to know the zip tie idea

You can also use Plasticine down between the ring and the leg to fill the gap so the ring stays on and the plasticine wears away after a few weeks [smilie=a_goodjobson.gif]
