Do peacocks get the mites that the chooks get you know the little grey ones. I just dusted the chooks for them but do I need to also do the peacocks because they are friends with the chooks when I let the chooks out each day

If they have direct contact with each other or share the same facilities then I would also treat the peafowl at the same time.
Lice tend to be species-specific whereas mites will infect a variety of birds.

They don't share the coop because the peacocks sleep in a tree at night but they do spend a little time together every day when the chooks are out so it sounds like its best to dust them too but not looking forward to that job

Thank you for the advice

If they do not sleep together then there is very very little chance the peas will have them BUT if you can do them then do them ;)

Nor have I but do the shelter with insecticide once a year so they would keep any mites away

If you just inspect them periodically especially under the wings then you should see if there are any lice & mites present.
If not, then no treatment required!
