15mx5m well thats what mum said the pen size is, its really big and i plain on putting some trees in it too.
the male i have is a real sweety, he is allways happy to be caught and runs fine with my chooks and guinea fowl, would that mean that if i ran him with a much younger male he would be allright?

Yes they would and thats not a good idea as their is enough polluted pheasants out their now.

Yes very bad. Any crosses are worthless and you would not be able to sell them so you would have to keep them or eat them.

In most case yes, most pheasants are territorial so fighting for hens it normal for them.

Only until the young one matures then war could break out

Thats a good size cage beccy a_bravo.gif even if you start with 1 pair of say amhersts you will breed them up in 2 or 3 year to have a decent flock, just watch the males in breeder season they can get nasty with each other and the hens

oh boy i would love to get some amhersts but im having trouble finding Ringnecks, we have to travel 1 day there and back to just get some girls for my boy and thats why im waying up if i should get another male. i will defenlty keep my eyes open at Eroua auctions, but i just cant seem to find any :( . if my Ringnecks work out then i might try and con dad into building me another peacock cage and try a different breed but for now i might just work with my male ;)

Around January there should be heaps of different pheasants on the market especially the common ones like amhersts and goldens

Hi I have 2 male red golden pheasants and 3 female golden pheasants and they are all in the same large cage and have been since they were born but now 2 of the males are very aggressive towards the females and 1 female had feather missing from the top of her head is this normal and why would they do that?
