Up to 40 in 1 season but they do it in rounds of 8-12 eggs per round.

Whats the quality like of them? did they come from PA? they have without a doubt the best bloodline in Australia, 48 years work has gone into them so no gender confused hippo can argue with that ;)

I have 2 females and a male. I have had my first 6 eggs in the incubator for about a week and they are all developing well. Have 4 more in the last week and yesterday was the first day I got 2. Previously I had been getting an egg every 2 or 3 days.

Should the amhersts breed at 12 months old like the red golden pheasants?
