Hi Bushboy, actually there are a large number of breeders that keep and breed Pheasants in Qld. We have over 13 Species of Pheasant and there are quite a few with similar numbers.

Thanks
P.A

HI guys thanks for telling me this but It doesent help this country boy who has had adds in both local papers and Courier mail to no avail. Have even put wanted adds over local radio stations so I think pheasnat breeders must really be staying to themselves and not being willing to pass on there knowledge etc or is it as i think that fact that i live out in the sticks?

Soory guys I must seem to be raveing on but this reall does worry me as I know of breeders who have had to give there birds up due to new councul regulations etc so to me it seems important that we try to have some sort ofan idea of what breeds there are are and a rough idea of where they are and that they are in safe hands, I hope this makes sense to you all and I apologise if you all think that Im just getting on my soap box but after haveing spent the last three years trying to track down Silver pheasants I sure you can understand where I am comming from. Thanks and once again sorry for raveing on.

Bit like finding a macaw breeder! I know they exist, but try finding one.
