Okay, So far so good. I already have about 40-50 eggs in my mates incubator. A mix of my Red Jungle Fowls, My Old English Game Bantams and Hybrid Fowl from work. There are also two Hybrid Fowl hens sitting at work on a clutch of eggs in two seperate logs. How many? I don't know, cause I can't get into the logs and one is nesting in a wombat log, haha

Actually there was 3 hybrid fowl hens sitting, I did notice one was missing and when they disappear that usually means that they are nesting or dissappeared completely for one reason on another. That third one actually popped out all of a sudden with 7 chicks, as they usually do. So I've pulled them and now the chicks are in a brooder. Most of the time I usually leave them with the parents, but with the amount of tourists, especially kids that come through, thought it might be a good idea to pull them, haha

Jax

Okay, the second and third hybrid fowl hens on clutches have finally hatched, the second hen with 7 chicks I have pulled with the mother I have moved into quarantine. The third one I'll pull when the chicks come out of the wombat log and no way I'm going in there with those bloody cranky wombats hahaha.

Finally I have more Red Junglefowl coming my way! I have 2 hens coming in from Taree this weekend, 12 chicks coming in from Gross Vale in 3 weeks and more chicks coming in from Kurrajong next week...Woohoo. Still awaiting word from Dapto and Bringelly.

My plan is to keep the Red Junglefowl in Coops and the hybrids, I'll just let loose in my backyard...but the day they start crapping on my patio is the day they're going!

Now I have to get rid of my 6 Seabright hens...I need the room.

I just recieved another 6 Red Junglefowl chicks from Kurrajong, 2 roosters and 4 hens, he has nice enough to give them to me for free, that was very much appreciated. A friend of mine was also kind enough to pick up 2 hens for me at Prestons which arrived from Taree, which I am still yet to pick up. So far so good. I just need to hurry up and get my chicken coops up and running...haha
