Hi,

I rang him yesterday. But he only has the grey. My friend is trying to import the green from Coco's Island though. But he needs a big croup to do it I think.

I'm a little confused is the green jungle fowl a chicken or a pheasant, sorry that may be a silly question but it looks like a chicken. Either way it is a great looking bird.

the green jungle fowl is a pheasant, it is related to the red jungle fowl which is the decendent of all chickens.

i have seen wild ceylon junglefowl. gorgeous creatures. good flyers too!

however i am pretty certain that there are NO grey junglefowl in this country. are you sure your friend has them jesse?

its a terrible shame that the animals in the cocos-keeling islands were all destroyed. however as was said these australian territories operate under international customs procedures. i'm only hoping there is some bird guy over there who has a whole bunch in his aviaries.

but somehow i doubt it...
