I have been unable to find peacocks / peahens in or around echuca area,
We have one lonely blue peacock male, in need of some friends
We are looking for peahens for him as well as maybe another boy
the peacock we have is so beautiful and quite he roams mum and dads small acerage, comes up to the house most of the time relaxing under the front verander, he comes to our kids to be fed by hand, we would love to find him some friends of his own. Please help we do have an incubator if anyone could supply a few eggs that would even be great.
would love to get dad some white peacocks/ peahen for his birthday

Hi, saw your post and not far from you. We had a few eggs last year around November which just got wasted as we had no incubator. Will let you know when we get some if you're interested.
:-D

Maybe you should place an ad in farmstock?

Hi Brett. Hope you have some luck. I am still keeping my ears open. We had our first egg last Thurs. She laid it in the back of our old Landrover but she has laid her second one in her usual place. I will move the other one there soon. Trevor sold his birds at Euroa, they were the ones I told you about on the phone. As far as I know he has only his pair of split pieds that he is keeping as they were his first pair. Sadly, he has been downsizing due to unfortunate circumstances. If you have broody chooks then it may be worth to get those eggs mentioned but we have never had luck with chookies looking after them. Some people have though and it is worth a try if you can't get a peahen in time. I presume you have an incubator or at least some broody chooks??? Anyway, I will continue to look for you. Cheers, Pam

yep we have a couple of incubators and a few broody hens as well, so if the eggs come available will definately give it a go
meanwhile still chasing pea hens, will keep searching.
