 Post subject: whats is best to feed my new pheasants

Hey there I am new to pheasants and need to get advice from the experts on whats is best to feed my new pheasants. I have 1 pair of the brown ringnecked pheasants and 1 pair of the goldened pheasant and at the moment just feeding them scratch mix that I use with the chooks

Good clean grain mix , NOT scratch
High protein pellets - PM me for the brand
Greens - mixed greens
Fruit
Bread - just a little
Cat biscuits

all = healthy

Thanks for posting this I just got 2 pairs of red golden pheasants and want to feed them the best I can

Yes they do get the same diet stay clear of meat like mince or wet cat foods (very bad advice if anyone suggests it) most pheasants will not eat dry cat food either but you can try them just make sure its the smallest day food

A good rule is always fresh food NEVER frozen crap thats just lazy, and good greens like silverbeet not grass or clippings again just lazy and stupid. Fresh diced fruit is a winner like watermelon and rockmelon and sultanas are very good too
