What to feed pheasants

Hello I have a second question, what is the best food for pheasants. I have large parrot mix and small parrot mix - love bird mix is that ok to feed them

I use Red Hen Free Range Layer. I have golden pheasants and just feed them that chook mix they love the mix.

Hi Burnsie, you can work of the diet of Peafowl as follows: Peafowl should be fed a Gain mix, you can mix you own or buy a pre mix from Pet shops Or Produce Stores ( Course Grain Mix) this should be offered at ALL times in a large bowl. They will also need Greens i.e.. Lettuce, Silverbeet, Cabbage, ECT.. Also Shell Grit should be offered, Bread and Cat Biscuits.

I use Jenco poultry mix for my Goldens's & Silver's they eat most of it so I have little wastage. I do feed mine some wheat on its own but only by the handful.

I feed mine parrot mix but they do get some finch seed off the floor as the finches spill more than they eat

I feed mine poultry grain mix in the crusted form and they seem in good health. When they breed I ad crest small parrot mix some the young ones can feed straight up
