YES!

One Egg! She has started to lay my darling older sweet hen! We have had a spout of early hot weather in QLD which have brought the flowers on early & the tails out to bloom too!

She has laid one egg and I think she is one capable of laying up to 6 or 7 eggs!

JUST on another question, about breeding
Have you ever seen the males help incubate the eggs for the last 24 hours? Two Breeding seasons ago, I had 5 girls with 2 males together (males didn't fight) So one was nesting up high when it got really close to hatching both males made their way close to her and sat on the side of the nest for a little while. As if they were sitting on eggs themselves? Panting etc etc
Do the males ever help incubate the eggs?

They never annoyed here any other time of sitting period just the last 24 hours before chicks appeared underneath Mother hen...
The males were not aggressive towards Mother hen or chicks either..but the aunties were so I separated them immediately to their own pen!

The peacocks weren't helping incubate they were effectively guarding their hen and chicks. Peacocks are good fathers most of the time and I have never seen a peacock attack young peachicks under a few months old especially if they are born with them.
