My best male breeder which I keep in a large enclosure with his peahen has fallen prey to the nasty tick!

HAS ANYONE HAD THEIR PEAFOWL TREMBLE /SHAKE BEFORE ? I guess its like a toxic tremble-??? (along with breathing labored)

I was able to extract the tick which was at the top of his head below his crest...and of course VIATMIN C remedies and IVOMEC.

The trembling has stopped and WAYNE his just sitting in his spot feeling allot better and resting!

Thanks for the praise my Peacock forum family and do I hope that one day you save one of your own with good information that is on here!

GOOD NEWS- He IS EATING but still sitting down allot! He has improved after immediate removal of the tick! 24 hours and he will be up! He chose not to roost with his girlfriend!

Im just glad he pulled through! We will see tomorrow! [smilie=thanks.gif]
