Plants to be planted inside an aviary…
I was wondering if any of you know of great plants or shrubs/ small trees to plant inside an outside aviary? ( Peafowl )
What sort off plants do you have inside your aviary right now?

I am going to get the mini bamboo that PA was talking about seems like the idea shrub for the peas |

Yes mini bamboo and golden canes are idea just get the clumping golden canes they are best |

I have also planted inside my bird cage but I use edible veggies, Currently I have peas, brussel sprouts and broad beans, I have shaped some netting into a semi circle and put against one wall of cage. One the out side of the cage I have done the same thing with a garden bed (1 1/2 to 2 ft) wide, In that I have planted lettuce, kale and capsicums. I also have a grape vine on one side and a passionfruit on the other which helps provide shade for this hot QLD weather. And saves a bit of money also on buying fruit for them. |

Dont they just eat all the veggies in 1 day and maybe get sick from too much |

Hi No they are unable to get to them with the semi-circle netting I place around plants in cage. |
