I know its still early in the season for full tail length displays but all the birds are in courting mode..
Within my aviary I have 2 males and 4 females

One of the males the ALPHA Wayne seems to try to shake his tail feathers but only seems to only achieve half way up effect…it appears "he can't get it up"

Has anyone experienced this with their peacock…could his supporting tail feathers be broken??? Or just not fully grown as it is early in the season!

Meanwhile he doesn't allow the other male to leave his tail feathers up for too long either… being the Alpha ……

I was looking at him today, I think his supporting back tail feathers haven't grown properly just yet, so therefore can only support his eye feathers extravaganza half way up! conf665

Never mind…he'll get there in the end LOL [smilie=a_holycrap.gif]
