To Tolmie Peafowl, Thank you so very much for the info. Actually I have just been reading something similar on the internet and it is apparently definitely old age and your info is spot on because other than the male feathers she is, in every way, still a female. The fact is that I rescued 3 females around 10 years ago and have no real idea how old they were when I took them, so she could be much older than I thought. It matters little though because she's just one of my girls and I don't really mind that her feathers have changed but I was curious as to the reason. Again, many thanks for your post. |
