POULTRY AUCTION - Sunday 18 November
The Goulburn Poultry Fanciers' Society poultry auctions average more than 80 vendors and more than 100 registered buyers with over 1,000 fowl in more than 500 pens. The extensive range varies but often includes quality pure-bred stock (including rare breeds) as well as cross-breeds including: soft-feather,hard-feather (standard & bantam), ducks, geese, peafowl, guinea fowl, turkeys and pheasants. The auction also regularly includes the sale of equipment such as incubators, feeders and carry boxes. Other bird breeds are also welcome with aviary birds such as finches and parrots as well as quail regularly available.

Venue: Poultry Pavilion at Goulburn Showgrounds, Braidwood Road, Goulburn.
Commencing: 9.30am with miscellaneous items (eg: cages & fertile eggs) before moving onto penned poultry.

Penning is from 5pm to 7pm Saturday night and 7am to 9am Sunday morning (or until pens are full). The Club reserves the right to refuse sick or diseased birds.
Please remember that it is illegal to transport live birds in bags or sacks (to or from the auction). Buyers should bring boxes or other suitable containers with them for transporting birds home after purchase.

Hot food and refreshments are available. Club fundraising raffle is $2 per ticket.

Auctions are held in Goulburn approximately every 2 months.

For more information please contact the Club Secretary Bob Andrews on (02) 4844 7133.
