After a little discussion to and fro, someone asked me to create this thread with a Poll.

So that people are less likely to vote for a photo based on friendship or not vote for a photo based a deep-seated, never-ending, spine-tingling loathing for the submitter, it has been suggested in the "Let's go off topic in the suggestions thread" thread that entries appear anonymously.

That is, we mere mortals don't know who submitted which photo and can;t let personal feelings cloud our judgement of what we feel is the best photo.

I feel it would be easier for admin to count as we can use the voting star system on each photo like 1-5 stars and the winner would be easier to count as well.

Not all of us have time to kill, so I feel this way would be better for sure.

I never even thought of that. Does anyone use those stars now?

It would limit everyone to one vote each (per photo), but would allow us to vote for EVERY photo.

Interesting idea Deb.

Sorry Deb. Your thread was closed as a duplicate.

I typed out and submitted the message below but it was rejected as the topic was locked.

I apologise Deb.

And no-one has voted in either poll.

Message:

I still haven't counted the votes.

I chose the photo I liked best and voted for it...a few times. I know it is was either Fuzzy's or Deb's but that didn't affect my choice at all. It's not like the winner is going to come over here and give me a kiss on the cheek and "slab" of chocolate.

I voted based on my opinion and my interests. If I was a peacock person I'd have possibly chosen a peacock. If I was into ducks, I may have chosen a duck (if there was one).

I've got turkeys too now. I think I might have chosen turkey for #2 or #3. Too tired to check.

Better go and check the birds though. A kid is standing here beside me telling me another kid has a turkey in his hands.
