Can anybody out there tell me how to correct a club foot in a newly hatched chick? I would like to do it as soon as possible if there is a way. Perhaps using a splint?????

Thanks guys,

Cheers :(

Can someone please explain what a clubbed foot chick looks like and why this occurs?

I have see humans with clubbed feet but never chicks.

Little Wheezy was a late hatch and was splayed but he has grown up straight and tall without any aides.

Thank you, kindly 52.gif

In regards to splints, I think that you can you pipe cleaners as splints on chicks.

PS
Photos of Wheezy at hatch and now.
