Just an update on my boy..he has improved to the point where he is after the girls again.nowhere as fast as he was and still a weird sort of run..but i am sure the worst is over.. [smilie=a_cookiemonster.gif]

I had a very similar experience and I believe in my case he ate something from the garden that was mildly toxic, maybe even a spider and it took 4 days to work out of his system and like yours he come good and it never happened again. He is now the father to many chicks

ty still watching him carefully..he still walks weird and every now and then its like he tripped..but he is out leading the girls about and crowing now and then..also roosting is no worry..so for now all good.. :roll:

my boy never made a full recovery..the staggers went and he seemed to be eating drinking and interested in the girls again but seemed to be just a bit slower..hard to describe every one else couldnt see it..about 2 days ago he got ill again and just went down fast..i went in to check him in his box..he had stopped roosting..he was still warm but gone..i will miss him..he loved to be talked to and if the camera came out would put his big head in the way every time..R.I.P Mr Cluck.. :cry:
