It also helps if a young fella learns how to cook to add to his other great allround skills.

Yes, Philip, learn to cook, another feather to your cap so to speak. Did I read somewhere else that you were doing Food Tech, so you will be not living on take away and 2 minute noodles when you leave your nest...

Get involved in the kitchen, help mum out a bit, learn a few things and gradually introduce her to some of your brilliant ideas. Probably not a good idea just to steamroll into her kitchen whilst annoucing "Dinner was a bit bland last night mother and you always burn the toast!"

Maybe our girlies shall have to have some spices. ;)

I hated food tech only because every year they would teach the same basic skills like how to cream butter and sugar and I was forced to watch every single time when I have been able to do it since I was like 7 years old. =/

So those spices are the best ones for them? Or just some suggestions?

They are all good, tumeric and ginger are antioxidents, garlic antiviral, aniseed a digestive, fenugreek is good for kidney, heart, abdominal, and mustard has Omega 3 and fatty acids.

We went to Vic Market and bought really high quality spices there, so don't worry, we can make a batch up for you. All you need is 1/4 teaspoon in their warm mash.

Do you find the spices have speed up heavy molting so the recovery is quicker

I have read on farmstock about these sort of spices and they help with molting?

Colloidal Silver is a natural antibacterial product which has been used throughout the ages to help support the immune system and fight infection.
We have used it for our chooks for a few years now & have noticed the difference after using it. All our breeders down to newly hatched chicks receive it everyday.. 50mls in 4 litres of water.
Our colloidal Silver has approximately 13 to 15 ppm & can be given to all types of animals & birds for maintaining better health.

1 litre ... $10
