Does anyone know how long I need to withhold the eggs for after a week on Sulfa 3.. Manufacturers will not tell me as they say it is not registered for poultry use.

Can you ask the person who you bought the medication from or was it direct from the manufacturer?

For the treatment of bacterial enteritis sensitive to sulfonamides, respiratory disease
(coryza), one-eyed cold ( Chlamydophila ( Chlamydia) and coccidiosis in birds.

Yes it is an antibiotic

I think the minimum witholding period would be 14 days, but you could stretch it up to 4 weeks if you wanted to be extra sure.
No one will officially give you a witholding period for any drug not registered to be used in poultry for liability reasons. They may not have done the research because of the costs involved.
Therefore, we assume that 2 weeks is enough for many drugs but no one can really say for many of these products.
This witholding period starts after the LAST DOSE of medication has been given, not from when the medication started.
