Good luck, just try and feed her some probiotics, some plain yoghurt and apple cider vinegar in their water to restore her inner health.

Bread can clog some chookies up.

The trauma from the attack probably didn't help much either.

I mix the yoghurt in with their morning breakfast. Sometimes I give them porridge, warm weetbix or warm pollard. Easy to disguise the yoghurt.

Thank goodness no sour crop. OK so has bathtime revealed any nasties?

Does her breath stink, or just under her wings? I wouldnt give them any more bread for a few weeks and see if that makes a difference as it may be associated with the yeast.

Nawww dont you just feel for your chookies when something isnt right. Love them like our kids

Ah ha ha ha, hate that! Dreaming about it all night. sidesplit.gif

I had to relieve my DB Plymouth Rock (Priscilla) of sour crop of couple of times. I tell you it is a bit of a challenge hanging a 4.5kilo chook upside down with one hand while trying to push out the contents of her crop up & out of her mouth with the other, while not trying to heave your own breakfast at the same time! [smilie=rlp_smilie_207.gif]

Soon learned that giving bread to Priscilla was a no no, unless I wanted to continue the practice on a regular basis. Some chookies are just more susceptible to it than others. So now I give bread to the others while she's not looking. You should see her try and run her fat butt over to me as fast as she can go when she realises the other are getting bread & she's missing out. It hysterical [smilie=a_rolling.gif]

So glad you don't have to deal with a sour crop issue. :-D

Let's us know how Daphne goes after bath time xx

Cheers

Oooh yuck, sour crop treatment sounds absolutely gross and disgusting. Hope my chookies never get it. As for hanging a plymouth rock upside down :-? who needs to go to the gym when you have a big birdy. I cant imagine how I would treat one of my Australorps, they are hefty ladies [smilie=a_rolling.gif] and when they run, you can hear them from a mile away. Thud, thud, thud with wings outstretched. sidesplit.gif Oh, and the two plymouth rocks arent far behind.
