. I thought I read somewhere on this forum that the reason for withholding food is to do with regurgitating the tablets back up. I do weigh my chooks though because I wouldn't even have a clue how much they weigh! I break the tablets in half and slip each half inside a cooked corn kernel and feed one at a time. Even if I drop the tablets directly in the beak, I will often still just place the corn in their beak and they just swallow it themselves - less spitting them back out. But I also only have a few chooks! Gosh, I only ever did a 7 day withhold on the eggs. Guess the kids and I will be well wormed then
