Thank you for your replies. Left unattended, and assuming more bites will occur, is this a problem I should be unduly concerned with ?? Mosquitoes are not at plague proportions, but they are flying about in the garden where the chicken seems to hide during the day. Combating the mosquitoes is not possible outside, other than removing stagnant water (breeding areas). Cheers, CG |

Nope just use vaseline and they will be fine |
