Hello,

I have a hen who is approximately 2 years old. I noticed the other day that her comb was flopping over to one side, she seemed very lethargic and she had clear liquid coming out of her nostrils. She allowed me to pick her up, that in itself being unusual, I checked her all over but could not see any injury, ticks or lice.

When I set her down she ran off, but still seemed very sluggish. Later in the day she was ranging with the other hens and seemed ok.

This morning I noted again, she was very lethargic, the comb is still drooping, but no signs of liquid.

Any ideas of what might be wrong with her?

Regards Lee

When was the last time you wormed?

Never wormed my hens, didn't know I had to. What kind of worming would you recommend?
