Guinea fowl have such thick hard shells I have never deliberately put it there for them, they roost with the chooks and eat their food. My hubby ran over a guinea fowl egg in the grass and it didn't break.

I use all egg shells. Quail included. Just to think of the egg shells I have thrown away. What a waste I made. If I had only known. I thought I had to buy the grit.

From what I've read it's not as common but they can get fleas.

But take that with a grain of salt as I've no personal experience yet, I'm just trying to learn. :)
