Help please I found a baby magpie and not sure what to do I cannot find its mum or dad and its very hungry

Should I feed it

What do I feed it

I hate to see our wildlife suffer

ring WIRES they can direct you to someone that will know what to do
they are the professionals and the best ones to ask
in the mean time keep it in a dark warm place so it doesnt stress too much

Thanks I rang the rspca and they put me in touch with a carer who helped with what to do and feed him. They are picking him up today. You were right they also said about a dark warm place to keep him

we are currently raising 2 :)
The like steak (raw) with insect powder (forgotten the name) coated on top :) we have ours in a cage outside and the two from the other year are super friendly one brings his family here to see my granddad laughter.gif

We have a 4 year old maggie named Tom he's got free range of the place even inside the house and he keeps the hawks away from the other birds which is a bonus

Would have to talk to your shire office as all are different; we've never kept them caged as such so they've never been counted as pets just a release project.
