I have a male Peachface and a female lutino lovebirds. The female is currently sitting on 3 eggs due to hatch any day now.

My lovebird eggs hatch a couple of days later then I thought.

The sad thing is that many birds available are hybrids composed of several species. Masked and fischers in particular have been hybridised to get different colours into different species. There are many, many colour mutations available within most species.
But getting pure normal peach faced, masked, fischers or nyasas is almost impossible- very sad really.
If you just want some colour- that's fine. But if you are interested in keeping species pure ant true to type, we have really stuffed things up here in Australia ( and unfortunately in most countries).
