 Post subject: Ddd a few pigeons to the chicken coop

Is it safe to add a few pigeons to the chicken coop, safe as in disease safe I have heard if chooks carrying diseases that can pass on the pigeons

Mine are living with 6 large sussex chooks and they get on ok but I do let them all out during the day

If you get mature pigeons then you can never let them out but you can let their babies out when they breed

I have 10 fantails in my chooks coop and they get on really well with the chooks and they don't fly off

Do you have troubles with hawks like some people do as I read on high flyers forum
