You would think a pigeon would be able to tell the difference between a little white egg and a huge chook egg, thats "bird brains" for you!

sucsess i have now incubated a chick under a pair of pigeons :-D :-D :-D
the litte fella is walking around now with the other chicks he got him(or her) self there with the others. :-D

yes i will be using pigeons again as foster parents but have only had a small sucsess rate so far. :-D

You are a pioneer stuart :-D you could use pigeons to hatch quails too, I guess anything that doen't need milk :-D

yes when my quail lays im trying some under the pigeons also might try small duck or pheasant eggs under the king cross pigeons which i have (they are the large meat pigeons about 2-3 times the size of a normal one)
