Zip ties on 3 day old ducklings legs

tried the white zip ties......no nibbling by the other ducklings.....

does anyone else know of other colours that ducklings are not attracted to?

I only use white for that reason but I also number them to track who is who

I found the worst colours are red, yellow and green they seem to zoom in on those colours but the white and black were better

Never use green they thinks its grass. I found black and purple ok but yes white is best

That's alright I learnt that by making the mistake of using them and see the chicks harassed

No but a friend did and bad idea they just pulled at the tags all day

They shouldn't hurt each other by picking at it and they do stop in a day or 2 I have used them heaps on peafowl and a few chooks and never had trouble
