I cant recommend any others as I have not had any others of this size
temperature being to low, needing to be set 2degrees higher
The recommended humidity being to high, chicks drowning from humidity
Spikes in temperatures. Many times I have had eggs cooked when the temp goes of the dial.

I have had mummaroo tell me it has been 10-20% higher in spikes - many a conversation about this machine of hers as I was looking for a new unit not long after she got her one

I did not buy one as she started having trouble almost straight away - I got a 380 egg non modified R-Com Maru instead and to date not one bit of trouble (jinx jinx jinx)
have had the unit for 6months and each hatch has been very good with no problems with heat humidity or anything else - excluding the STUPID music it plays when it turns the trays!! and I cant work out how to turn the music off - so that is my problem with my unit

Cut the wire to the speaker! Unless of course it is also used for alarms/warnings I suppose. You could also send it to me and I'll let you know what I find. :-D
