 Post subject: Clark & King incubator

Has anyone used the old wooden Clark & King incubators hold about 40 eggs hand turned have a fan and a single glob for heating .I was given two and want to know if they were ok or not .

I have not heard of it sorry but can you set some eggs and try it? some of the old incubators work well so give it a go I think

I have eggs in the two I have here so time will tell . There is a lot of the old Clark & King incubators out there a lot of people have said to me that their father used to have one of them so there would be a lot tucked away in sheds .

The old Clark and Kings work ok close to 90% out of both first try . Tried a heap of Isa Browns eggs of the neighbours gave him four 10 litre buckets of chickens over the fence .

90% is dam good I wish I got that every time was that four 10 litre buckets of eggs? thats is a LOT of eggs if is was how many chooks do they have?

No Mate that was about 15 live chickens in each bucket just what I handed them over the fence to him in .
