Not really Philip if you have eggs in the incubator or a roast and veg in the oven :(

Otherwise, it is fun getting the candles out and cooking dinner in the fire place, just like it was done in the olden days...

it's probably all adventure in an egg... speaking of that...
you know how there are double yolked eggs?
can you get twin chooks, and can they survive?? I have been asking myself to put it some wehere for a while..

Here you are Philip are posts on candling eggs and double yolker eggs; you candle the eggs at about 10 days of incubation to see if they are viable, that is embryos developing in the egg.

hmmm, would the solar pannel have more voltage than the incubatore needs?
usually the incubators would have transformers, if the solar pannels have enough electrical pressure, I can't see why not!
and also solar pannels produce a tiny amount of power, compared to the coal... so if you have a tiny little one, I am not certain it will last long enought to keep your chicks alive:( because it takes more power from the source to heat, than to produce sound, or other,
but hey, it may work
