The only way is in an airconditioned room not out in a garage.
I use a cellar that is under the south side of the house it only gets to 35 in there when its 45 outside in the shade

it is Summer and no one should be incubating now anyway

But if your house stays quite stable temperature wise, then it should be ok right? Our house, even if the outside temperature hits 40 degrees, our house inside only reaches 28 degrees, and the jn8-48 is in a spare bedroom, and it's been very stable within the incubator 37.8 degrees, only gone up as high as 38 degrees at most.

And isn't summer when hens go broody? I just had our isa brown go broody of Christmas/New Years, we placed 12 pekin eggs under her, from that 8 hatched, even though she sat in a tin shed that was way warmer than the outside temperature of over 40 degrees.

When it is hot the birds including chicks don’t eat as much = hence the chicks often (most of the time) don’t grow out properly if hatched in the hotter months
Hens can go broody all year round – in my opinion, the smart time to incubate eggs is the colder months so the chicks eat well and grow out well
Of course it is each persons individual choice when they hatch anything out

Me – only in the colder months
