hi everyone,

I currently have a home made incubator that has a ecostat 100W thermostat and holds 150-180 hen eggs. This incubator has served me well hatching hundreds of egg layers and bantam white leghorns while i was showing and literally thousands of jap quail. [smilie=a_goodjob.gif]

the decision has been made that a new incubator is needed and auto turning is a must have. Hopefully be picking one up this week.

does anyone on here have a sportsman?

has anyone had any experience with them?

A friend of mine has one and swears by it she has very high hatch rate and the temp and humidity are very stable

Oh Congrats on your new purchase Red th_clap.gif

Is this the one you got? http://www.brookfieldpoultryequipment.c ... d=596&r=52

I had never heard of the Sportsman before you posted your post, so you have taught me something, so I just looked it up and it looks super cool and judging by the comments here on your post its pretty good as well.

I'm still deciding whether to buy a little JN12 egg incubator

Nowhere near as flash as yours :-D

Cheers
