I am in love with the Janoel 48 really hooked on hatching all the eggs I can get now hehehe its like an addiction a bit. What the best way to get the humid up to the 65% they say I need?

Increasing the amount of water increases the humidity but only small amounts as its better to be a little under than a lot over

Hi wave.gif GGee

I have an Janoel 8-48 and I find you just need to increase the water for it to lift the humidity.

Why are you doing 60%? Are you at day 18 now?

The book says 55% for the first 18 days.

I'd love to swap notes to try and get this thing right. [smilie=a_goodjobson.gif]

Cheers

I will soon have masked and spur wing plover eggs to hatch abut 2 dozen and I need to buy an incubator for them in the next 2 weeks do you think the JN48 is ok for plover eggs?

I know nothing about those plovers only they are noisy and nasty

The guys in Guineafowl & Turkeys section are the ultimate experts in all those fowls so I will PM a few with the link to this topic for you
