I don't mind paying good money for them if they are from good quality stock, but the majority aren't & they still sell for a high premium up here. Plus their eggs are getting paler in colour. I want a nice BLUE egg.

Oh yes I've seen the ads from the boys at Caboolture Poulry, but none at laying age for $10 and especially none for $5. I'll keep looking though, but in the meantime I'm going to go & buy some eggs from a lady in the morning & see if I can incubate some instead. Thanks though Cordie Cheers Chicka-Dee
