Hi

I set some eggs in my incubator a week ago and then last night the power went out. icon_gaah!

Went to bed about 9ish & then woke up at 12:30am to my husband trying to put the flick the switch for the power to go back on.

I went and felt the eggs and they were cool to the touch.

Now I have no clue as to whether I should bother waiting another 2 weeks to see what comes out...if anything. :(

Has anyone had this happen to them before? If so, how did you fair?

Cheers
Chick-Dee

Thanks Bill

They had only been in for a week and bit by the second blackout.

I've just taken 20 out of the 40 that were in there, as nothing seems to be happening with them when I candled them last night.

I don't know if that's from the low fertility from my rooster or from the blackouts :(

So.....when you say "how tolerant the chick is..", when are they more tolerant, and when are they less tolerant, to such events Bill?

Cheers
Chicka-Dee
