Post subject:  Incubating double yolk eggs ?????
G'day
anybody done much hatching of double yolk eggs i have 6 x 20 gram double yolk quail eggs in the incubator right now wondering what to expect. one of my quail only lays large double yolk eggs one a day every day all 19-20 grams.

great size egg to pickle but i decided to stick a few in just to see what happens.

Yep has happened but they 99.9% of time die

Its great I did a google thing and this was the only australian web site to come up about chooks and eggs

Not surprised, 2 never survive so 3 has -100 of a chance
