Ok sorry I thought brown is the same colour? So what about brown then as you say its a different colour to chocolate

You are right 24mussie brown is chocolate and there are a few in australia, just do a search using google and they come up not to mention a mate of mine has a small number

if someone had confirmed chocolate's in australia they could make a fortune. i know of someone who thinks they have some, just confirming that they breed true.

just did a quick search for chocolate mussies in aus, no pictures just people calling them chocolate.

unfortunately people are quite loose with the colour terms for mussies, i've been after lavender for a while and i've had people saying they have some and they've actually been blue or fume. blue quite often gets called grey.

Yes I agree its a shame people use different names for colours instead of all just sticking with the right names so we know what we are buying

its generally thought that the gene just isn't in the country. if they are here they are very very rare.

Ian I think many get confused with the light bronze and call it brown I have seen some browns however and they were good ones but that was a few years ago and the elderly gent was selling out. I do kick myself for not buying them when I had the chance but whoever did must have bred a few by now?
