I hope that vet can sort it out as sounds to me the real problem is unknown just allot of speculation. Good luck |

Better late than never UPDATE is in... There is a small spinal issue; appears to be getting better though he is now 7 months and is walking with a slight limp... Vet said he also has a greenstick fracture in his right leg and he was splinted and now the limp is better.. He is happily running with two female pekins but is every inch a proud ducky |

OH MY ! ! ! what good news Were you given the details of the spinal issue – we all have an interest in this little (well not little now as he is grown) |

it appears that our now not so little drake had a tumble of some sort. Vet seems to think that he fell over and injured his spine, Appears that the problem has "corrected" itself to a point "Ferdernand" can walk again, we were told it could get worse very suddenly but so far we haven't had any other issues. He may not be good for breeding but we will not know until he tries which so far he's shown no interest in doing |

That's a good outcome motherhen, all things considered. Well done, and I hope that "Ferdinand" continues to improve...and even breeds! Good luck with him. |

I will have to check that book out; may make good reading to my son when he's a little older Hopefully he breeds without hassle, my partner has grown rather attached with all the hard work we have put in to him! |
