does any one know what this lump is on my muscovy drake"BART" ??? he is about 2 years old!! this lump started apearin about 6 weeks ago but has now become more promenent

It's a little hard to tell in the photo, but the lump looks to be the same colour has his face, could it just be part of the caruncles forming down his neck? I know my drake's caruncles have spread a fair bit as he's gotten older, he'd be almost 2yrs now too. Does the lump look like a wound or different to the facial caruncles? |

Can you take a closer picture of the lump and a lighter picture if possible as it does look like caruncles |

yea i think your right, i pulled back his feathers & it is his caruncles its spread right down his neck ,i didnt know they went that far, ![[smilie=thanks.gif]](./images/smilies/thanks.gif "thanks")

on some muscovy the carucles will be right down the neck, |
