 Post subject: Pink-eared Ducklings

Here is a video and a photo of pink-eared ducklings. A very challenging duckling, it has taken a while to figure these little guys out. They are not hard to get started eating, its just that they are extremely messy.

makes me think of my family of ducklings last year which loved to eat fallen mulberries.....

Mum (an indian runner :shock: ) loved taking her babies through the hole in the fence down to the mulberry tree where they would gorge on fallen mulberries...they would then lie around with full bellies and mulberry stained faces.....of course the mulberry colour also affected their faeces.....'twas always worrying to see the black poos until I would then remember the cause. :oops:

They are so cute I love the runner ducklings and used to seeing them here in the coop but those little guys are even cuter, now I want some!

They are nice looking ducklings and they are nice looking as adults also are they difficult to keep?
