I want to fill the new pond up on friday and I would like to use the bore to do so as its all new and I am new to ducks and geese I need to know if bore water is ok for them to swim in and drink? The water is slightly above average iron levels is that ok?

Cheers
Kess

We use the bore water for the stock here also, all the chooks, ducks, geese and the horses and cows. If they haven't had it before it can take a little getting used to depending on the make up of your bore water, ie do you drink it? If you don't it could be salty, lots of calcium, iron etc, to introduce them to it gradually we fill half and half with bore and tank water then the next day reduce the tank etc until your just using the bore. Our ducks and geese swim maddly around in it no problems at all. :)
