Hi...do you think it would be beneficial to give a vitamin supplement to ducks as well? I have a 31/2 yr old Pied Muscovy duck named Cleo who eats a high protein pellet as well as forages around our backyard eating grass and insects etc at her leisure. Do you think there is any need to give her a vitamin supplement? I do give her calcium powder that I sprinkle on her food or place in a deep heavy dish beside her food bowl for her to eat whenever she likes (should I be doing that, have read posts by other duck owners on other forums that say to do this??) If you do think she would benefit from a vitamin supplement, could you please tell me a brand to use and where to purchase? We live in Brisbane if that's of any help or else where to buy off the net. Was also wondering how often should I be giving her calcium powder and for how long?? Also, what would be the best brand of wormer to give her as well and where can I buy it?? Sorry for all the questions, just want to look after her as best as I can as I really do love her to bits!! |

Thank-you Danny...but WHAT supplements should I use?? Going back to my original post you will see that I'm asking for names of brands of supplements and bird wormers and where to buy them. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. |
